BAA Electes New Officers at Annual Meeting

The Brickell Area Association elected new officers for the 2009-2010 year on Tuesday, February 24 during their Annual General Membership Meeting at Badrutt's Place, 1250 S. Miami Avenue. Over 60 current and prospective members attended the event.

The evening began with drinks and tapas compliments of Badrutt's Place, followed by time for socializing and networking. During the evening, members voted on the new slate of directors and the new Executive Committee as well as approved a minor change to the By-Laws allowing "out of area" memberships. Annual awards for excellence in service to the Brickell area were presented to Mr. Danny Ponce, Swire Properties and to Plexus M/2, the BAA's e-mail and website host.
